The Primary English Teaching Association is a national association that supports primary school educators to focus on the teaching and learning of English and literacies across all areas of the curriculum.

 

In order to achieve its purpose, e:lit - the Primary English Teaching Association will:

  2. Provide professional development for the sharing of current research and practice relevant to the teaching and learning of literacies and English
  3. Run projects which demonstrate quality literacy
  4. Promote the importance of literacies
