CBCA Shortlist Out

On 31 March the Children’s Book Council of Australia announced the shortlist for their annual awards. Thirty books have been shortlisted in five categories covering Older Readers, Younger Readers, Early Childhood, Picture books, and Information Books. The winners will be announced on 21 August, the start of Children’s Book Week. Notable Australian Children’s Books 2009, an annotated list of titles drawn from the entries submitted for the awards and complied by the judges was also released.
