Learning about literature in Years 5-8: Following character

e:lit – the Primary English Teaching Association, in conjunction with ETA (NSW), has received a grant from the Australian Government Quality Teacher Programme (AGQTP) for a project to develop literature programs in years 5-8 across high schools and their feeder primary schools.

e:lit invites members to take part in this highly innovative literature project.

  • the ways that character may be realised in different media
  • online collaborative technologies and procedures
  • collaborative models emerging from these activities

2. Mentoring support by a subject and programming expert

3. Developing lines of communication between secondary schools and their feeder primary schools
